1. We don’t like
change: No one likes change! No like giving up on say a
delicious breakfast that you have been having for the last ten years!
2. Denial: Just
like smoking or other “bad” habits, we often don’t admit that we need to
change. The first step to a cure is admitting that you need help!
3. No Patience: Most
people think a fitness or nutrition plan should be achieved in 12 “horror”
weeks. Its just not practical.
4. Unrealistic
Goal-Setting: This is a result of too much TV and magazine covers.
People like look like the models on TV, the beach body look. Is it possible?
Of course it is but it takes time to get there.
5. Lack of Motivation: Without
motivation, the like hood that you will stick to your fitness routine is very
slim. We all have our unique reason for wanting to transform or maintain our
lives. You need to find yours!
6. No Guidance: We
all need some guidance or instructions to help us get from point A to point B.
Without it, we are driving in the dark without direction.
7. Taking Life for
Granted: This is specially the case the people in their
20’s and 30’s. Youth has always been on their side in the past! People often
take that for granted until they hit their late 30’s or early 40’s wondering
how that belly got there!
8. Lack of Know-how: People
tend of to focus on quantity rather than quality. Often with little results.
Its all about quality.
9. Life is Good: From
chocolates to sweets and fast food, food is everywhere! Sure there are plenty
of healthy choices availably but they are just not that interesting, are they!

10. Lifestyle: Life today is definitely more sedentary as supposed to the 70’s or
even 80’s. People spend most of their time working, on the PC or playing Video
games. This combined with today’s diets, it a lose-lose combination!
